@russeltarr I think there are some privacy and safety benefits for Google Video compared to Skype. Not sure about port/firewall issues.

@russeltarr I don’t have enough knowledge or experience to fully compare Google Video to Skype, but I’m working on that.

@cindybrock The video quality with Google was comparable to Skype for sure. Not as good as iChat, but I was very impressed.

Had to use Safari instead of FireFox to connect with Google Video from my Macbook, however. Video friends didn’t show up in Firefox.
