@suewaters yes I would love to hear your views based on those experiences!

@kirish43 I totally agree that CR 2.0 and the NECC conference more generally are good amplifiers. Huge events have diverse audiences

via Echofon in reply to kirish43

@suewaters not yet. I am going to try and attend one before NECC. It has basic, simple rules for an unconference. That is what we need…

@alicemercer the BarCamp model is very strong and should play a role. I think we should adopt the model for EduBCon -It works & is a model

via Echofon in reply to alicemercer

@alicemercer I think there should be multiple amplification channels for EduBloggerCon not just CR 2.0. No one “owns” a BarCamp. Same idea

via Echofon in reply to alicemercer

@timstahmer why do you think vouchers have failed in DC? Sad as you point out Duncan does not appear to have better ideas.

via Echofon in reply to timstahmer

@alicemercer it is definitely a balancing act. I think a lot is about control. BarCamp model is not about control but empowerment. We’ll see

@heheboy ugh, that sounds terrible. I sure hope that does not come to pass… :-(

The 5th wave of egg hunting is about to start. This has been a seeker-gurrilla marketing event extrordinaire. Very instructive.

@wmchamberlain we are not headed back 2an industrial revolution model of school if I have anything to say about it!!! We need more democracy

via Echofon in reply to wmchamberlain

@wmchamberlain it is crazy, so out of touch and uniformed - so sad for our sec of edu

via Echofon in reply to wmchamberlain

@klmontgomery we had snickers banana cream and peanut butter cup. Amazing!!! I told Rachel your compliment too. :-)

via Echofon in reply to klmontgomery

@mcarls it was a good discussion. I think my 90 sec overview of barcamp was not enough info for a vote, but still a good start

via Echofon in reply to mcarls

Heading for the UCO Easter egg hunt which begins at 2. 100,000 eggs are allegedly available and pre-positioned. Should be exciting :-)
