It’s snowing in Minneapolis! Looks like the North Pole! Where is Santa? :-)
@jason_baker very good! Glad you found that helpful. :-)
@k_eepps great, thanks!
@marktucker1992 howdy. Have we met?
@humbledaisy yes, exactly. I’m thinking there will be just a LITTLE more snow in MN than I left in OK!
On my first flight enroute to Minnesota today :-)
@VisionsByVicky yes, exactly. Like Twittertools or ping.fm lets you cross-post, only to Ning, when you first post on a different blog.
Want to find a classroom partner for a VoiceThread project? Check and/or add your name to the voicethread4education wiki! http://ow.ly/12riT
@Neilstephenson Indeed. My post referencing those who are ignoring “publish at will” video certainly didn’t include your classrooms :-)
@VisionsByVicky Right, I know you can embed a RSS feed in the Ning, but a friend of mine wants to actually cross-post to a Ning from a blog.

@erniec yes, absolutely - I think the OER movement and standards based content sharing / open licensing is vital 4that reason
@dwarlick I think you will need to pro version to export or upload. Thanks for the recc, looks good!

@BarbInNebraska snow just lightening now. We have at least 1/4” of ice and 6” on snow. Haven’t lost power thankfully.
@dmdanker correction to previous tweet - that district is another big one that’s integrated Google Apps - 9000+ users (in Seattle area)
@BarbInNebraska That is great! Extemp is one of the best activities I think anyone can do for critical thinking & communication skills!
@drjohnhadley with undergrad preservice teachers, how do you navigate the line between frustration and challenge with new edtech tools?
@russgoerend thanks - I definitely feel I’m far, far away from working out the kinks tho…
@jamiefath me too. Working on it now!
@donna_shelton the ole runner sled is a priceless toy at times like these :-)
@quintosol well, this dad hasn’t taken them down yet in the warm days we’ve had since the holiday! At least indoor decorations are down!
@Luke1946 Yes, this isn’t much by Chicago standards I know. Our 12” over Christmas broke records here. The ice layer is the real bummer!
@srenatee it’s certainly more snow than I thought we’d get from this storm!
@technolibrary lucky you! I think we’re going to be socked in for at least a day or two!
Just scheduled a visit to Washington U for Sarah when we’re in St Louis for METC in 2 weeks. Never 2early 2think college! http://ow.ly/11VDv

@sharon_elin I will share them shortly! Just finished the 7th screencast! Had to do one of them 3 times to get it right!
@nnorris Yes I did, but I didn’t get them to embed right on my particular Google Site. Still working on it…
@lkolb Great, thanks so much! :-)
Just recorded my 2nd of 7 screencasts I’m making tonight about how to use VoiceThread with copyright friendly images (Creative Commons)
New blog post: Backchannel with Etherpad Experiences http://bit.ly/9PJcaH
@nnorris for some reason that embed widget that is featured won’t work for me. strange.
@PaulJRichardson right, but I don’t want to code a widget! I’d think someone else would have created one by now…
@JSW_EdTech yes, still no dice with that one. Can’t just insert in HTML code. Doesn’t work.
cogdog For some reason today my iPhone feels very tiny
Finished with post-production tweaks on today’s #t4t class video recordings. Uploading #2 to blip now. Transcoding in process…
#gct anyone have a good link that can help for embedding non-Google video (like from a Ning) onto a Google Site? I’m not having luck.
@PaulJRichardson well, first out of the gate doesn’t necessarily win the race… and the race doesn’t really “end” either, so we’ll see…
@teacher24_70 well, I think it would have to be an integrated camera… too bad that was not part of the vision for the device

@edjurist thanks - I will persist!
@EvansEric Right, and I do get that. Still, there are so many possibilities which open up when a device can multi-task….
@technolibrary I think so, it sounds to me like iBooks will be an app that will run on an iPhone and iPod Touch as well.
My dissertation IRB application was approved by UCO today. Excellent. Next step: IRB to TTU.
I’m disappointed the #ipad doesn’t have a camera /support multitask. Looks great 4 web surfing and eBooks. Looking forward 2a hands-on test.
@TellMyCell no I haven’t so thanks for the heads up.
