About to update my to the latest iOS 4.2 firmware. Backing up in iTunes now. Looking forward to having folders!

@ransomtech the option to “convert text to audio using iTunes” is missing, however, from my keyboard services menu http://ow.ly/3eFTT Ideas?

via HootSuite in reply to ransomtech

@ransomtech I followed these steps to run the workflow within automator, and it DID convert text to audio http://ow.ly/3eFTs

via HootSuite in reply to ransomtech

@ransomtech I can get automator to run and work fine when I enter text as described here, so that iTunes 10 problem isn’t happening for me

via HootSuite in reply to ransomtech

@ransomtech what version of iTunes are you running? Apparently iTunes 10 broke this, but there is a workaround http://ow.ly/3eFKf

via HootSuite in reply to ransomtech

RT @ransomtech Here is the simplest, most awesome way to convert any text to an audio file in iTunes (mac, Snow Leopard) http://is.gd/hFUCT

After updating to the latest Hootsuite version, it no longer runs on my iPhone :-( (I’m running iOS 3.13)

via Brizzly

@dmantz7 it is interesting. A little long, but good scenarios for kids to consider

via Brizzly in reply to dmantz7

@I_teach_ICT I can’t do that anymore. Do you still see that option? I’m wondering if it was removed in a recent OS update?

via Brizzly in reply to I_teach_ICT

@donna_shelton I think it is a typo and their middle school was Edison… Not sure tho. Confusing. Thanks for looking…

via Brizzly in reply to donna_shelton

@ransomtech yes please! Did the latest OS upgrade remove the feature? This would be a great thing for you to blog on :-)

Anyone have a link to the Edison Elementary School website listed as an Oklahoma TitleIID ARRA 1:1 school? http://ow.ly/3esY6

via HootSuite

@ransomtech ok np, thanks. This is what I’ve tried before, but I’m not seeing the options now… http://ow.ly/3er4z

via HootSuite in reply to ransomtech

@techfacil I’d recommend contacting http://edublogs.org/cont… for WPMU issues. @woscholar may have other reccs too.

via HootSuite in reply to techfacil

@classroom_tech I’ve seen that option before, but for some reason now I can’t enable it in Preview or TextEdit under services :-(

via HootSuite in reply to classroom_tech

@willrich45 that’s great news on your MBP! I hope the 5% that wasn’t recovered isn’t vital :-)

@RogerWhaley I thought Ambrosia’s Wiretap was just to record audio on your computer - Do they have a text to speech converter? Have a link?

via HootSuite in reply to RogerWhaley

@ransomtech I’ve seen a demo of limited text doing this in Leopard but not an entire PDF. Do you know of a good tutorial link for that?

via HootSuite in reply to ransomtech
