@digitalroberto iPad is awesome & I love it, but it’s still a baby-2nd generation device. You have to ask: What do I want kids to DO & make?

via Hootsuite in reply to digitalroberto

@digitalroberto …A big question iPads vs other options is: do you want your kids typing on a keyboard? I think 1:1 projects need keyboards

via Hootsuite in reply to digitalroberto

@digitalroberto …great a choice as I thought they’d be. Both iPads & Chromebooks are malware free at this point

via Hootsuite in reply to digitalroberto

@digitalroberto …I naively thought 2 years ago netbooks would be a big deal. For multiple reasons (including malware) they’re not as..

via Hootsuite in reply to digitalroberto

@digitalroberto …from an IT standpoint, a Google Chromebook absolutely is a different ballgame in terms of support requirements

via Hootsuite in reply to digitalroberto

@digitalroberto I need to write more than 140 characters to answer that question, so I’ll write a post soon on it with more…
