@taf1958 this Oct 2011 “World Without Ice” article from @NatGeo talks about Polecat Bench in Wyo! ow.ly/1zw01f

via Hootsuite in reply to taf1958

@jutecht yes indeed. A draconian policy worthy of amplifying to hopefully show what an outlier / out of touch approach that is :-(

via Hootsuite in reply to jutecht

@TParks Sounds good, but the real question is will & the proclamation@GovMaryFallinllin lead to constructive change in schools?!

via Hootsuite in reply to TParks

TParks Awesome! RT @OkCreativity: Governor Fallin Declares November “State of Creativity Month.” ow.ly/7cqTD

Looks like on Tuesday will be a full house, registration is closed! Looking forward to the ideas & shariow.ly/7dDyvN4LD

@k_shelton @jutecht are unconference sessions officially happening at ? Edubloggercon? I wonder how widespread that policy is?

via Hootsuite in reply to k_shelton

@jutecht when it’s possible it would be great to share & amplify that policy. VERY chilling for creativity, OER, PD, etc :-(

via Hootsuite in reply to jutecht

@jutecht Are you compiling a list of school policies on curriculum IP for teacher-created materials? That would be a great collab doc idea

via Hootsuite in reply to jutecht

@jutecht like it is with colleges, I’d think with K12s it depends by organizational policy. A very good issue to take up, but messy

via Hootsuite in reply to jutecht

@jutecht I think it depends if the teacher is on ‘contract time’ - some universities say the IP is shared, others try to take it all

@techsavvyteach I’ve had to do a few forced restarts since updating, & noticed a few other weird behaviors. A clean install would do me good

via Hootsuite in reply to techsavvyteach

@techsavvyteach so you’re thinking a clean install will solve your Lion blues? Please let me know how it goes.

via Hootsuite in reply to techsavvyteach

@WiredEducator I would love to do that! You use the Star Walk app for that? I didn’t know it showed ISS position!

via Hootsuite in reply to WiredEducator

@whois101 the last time (and only other time) we saw the ISS it was in the SE.. very fast and low tho

via Hootsuite in reply to whois101

@whois101 you are welcome… We saw it but for only 15 sec- clouds to the N & NE obstructed it

via Hootsuite in reply to whois101

@taf1958 Retweet that comment with a shortened link like: ow.ly/1zvQD1

thanks to @twisst our family saw the ISS briefly tonight before it was obstructed by clouds - Sarah spotted it this time, woo hoo!
