@TomGavin do you think the do a great job articulating digital literacy & how students should model it?

via Hootsuite in reply to TomGavin

@TomGavin yes, I know some tech use is in like what u cite. Compared to ISTE NETS-S, however, the requirements are very general

@The_Drama_Coach you can create separate categories for each class if you want, that way they can ID which class they are in when posting

via Hootsuite in reply to The_Drama_Coach

@The_Drama_Coach it’s probably best to use 1 account 4 all to share their posts / work, that way each can provide feedback / see others work

@pbnshelly are you all using 1 of @dwarlick ‘s books as a course text this term?

via TweetChat in reply to pbnshelly

@BamaProducer this is a helpful site w visual writing prompts for student bloggers wfryer.me/2ia

via TweetChat in reply to BamaProducer

@BamaProducer I find moving activities to after school (where kids choose to come) for activities like Scratch is gr8

via TweetDeck in reply to BamaProducer

@BamaProducer grading in general is an issue whenever we talk about intrinsic motivation…

via TweetDeck

@BamaProducer also I think global commenting projects like are super, helps connect w/ global audience

via TweetDeck

@BamaProducer well I don’t have a silver bullet, but encouraging kids to write about topics they care about (free choice) is a key

via TweetDeck in reply to BamaProducer

@drsyb I’m not sure a driver’s license analogy applies well 4 online. Constant learning & communication is key, not certification

via TweetChat in reply to drsyb

@BamaProducer can you explain what you mean by a catch 22?

via TweetChat in reply to BamaProducer

via TweetDeck in reply to pbnshelly

@pbnshelly I regularly see technology used in more “accomodating” (replicating analog practices) rather than transformative ways
