Pontifex May we make God’s merciful love ever more evident in our world through dialogue, mutual acceptance and fraternal cooperation.

@thurmiere that’s my best effort so far in answering the question, why should we be connected educators? (using Twitter and other tools)
@thurmiere you are most welcome.
@thurmiere social media presents some unique challenges because in some ways people tend to expect a channel to be monolithic in focus
@thurmiere yes, thanks thanks very much for engaging with me about this. I have considered your request and will continue to
@thurmiere we are all biased. One of the essential skills of literacy is identifying & understanding bias. No one is 100% objective
@thurmiere I respectfully disagree about your statement on teaching and politics, however. Teaching is inherently political.
@thurmiere I mainly use my Twitter channel to share resources, ideas and links that relate to educational technology and teaching
@thurmiere you are actually the first person on Twitter to tell me not to share any of my political views
@thurmiere i’m glad your grad prof is introducing you to Twitter, it is an incredibly valuable & powerful learning & collaboration platform
@thurmiere thanks for your reply. I don’t frequently share things about politics or faith, but sometimes I do. & the occasional recipe
@johnrinker wow that sounds like a fantastic session!
@PaulbernalUK excellent! Thanks for the update & for sharing your important work
@pmacoun thanks Phil :-)
@PaulbernalUK Please consider publishing your work in open access journals. I want to read your ideas but won’t pay high subscription fees
