ShariGateley A7- Honestly, I refuse to live in this environment. Data can be important, but it goes back to my reflection from Q5 - “Is this what I would want for my child?” I refuse to be the teacher who only worries about what can be measured. If I do, I am doing a disservice.

ejbband21 A5) The 3 R’s of reflect, reevaluate, and revise. Effective leaders are doing this constantly.

@bridgestyler A5 Find ways to remind yourself daily about your personal vision. Write it down, post it, integrate it into your Twitter profile. Reflect on it with trusted colleagues periodically. Ask for honest feedback and make appropriate adjustments.

lsmellott A5: I always plan my curriculum with the end in mind. What do i want my Ss to do at the end of the unit? What do i want them to accomplish by the end of the semester? How is that going to relate to what they do at the end of the year? Every idea is connected together.

Stv_Gilliland A5: Model it and don’t ask others to do what you don’t do yourself. Make reflection a habit.

@kriscoop80 @HartfordJimmy This is a big reason why leadership must be practiced as a follower and a leader to be learned well. And the learning never ends…

elliottn76 A2: The best leaders are genuine, they will never ask those they lead to do something that they would not do themselves. Also you have to take ownership of everything, if something goes wrong it’s your job to find a solution and not just pass down the blame.
